With big-time interior and industrial design credentials, Shannon Kaye is an expert in skilled painting techniques. This amazingly successful Bay Area artist and interior designer began her career studying at the prestigious Academy of Art College in San Francisco. A year-long apprenticeship with decorative painter Page Kelleher gave Shannon an opportunity to hone her artistic skills and develop the experience needed to start her own art and interior design business. Shannon’s acclaimed work has been featured in Pottery Barn Kids catalog and such publications as California Home and Design, Home Companion and Gentry Magazine. How she does it, we don’t know. But Shannon still finds time for big side projects, designing and painting. In everything she does, she designs with sustainability in mind, reusing materials and using low-VOC paints. Brush up with some of Shannon’s tips on DIY Network’s Fresh Coat.
