        • Time

          30 Minutes

        • Price Range

          $100 - $250

        • Difficulty

          Moderate

        Highlights:

Step 1: Strip the Outer Insulation

Snap the press-on fitting (it captures the wiring that enters the fixture) into its place on the light box. Then, strip back the outer insulation on the wire with a wire stripper.

        Step 2: Feed the Wires

Feed the wires into the fixture through the fitting -- make sure the outer insulation enters the box.

Step 3: Slide the Wires into the Connector Boxes

Next strip 1/2" of insulation off the individual feed wires. Slide the stripped wires into their corresponding wire connector boxes. White to white (neutral), black to black (hot), and bare to green (ground).

Push the excess wire into the wall, then hang the light on the bottom of the cabinet with screws.
