Prepare the room by taping the windows, doors and moldings with painter's tape. Then, place a drop cloth on the floor.

Add three parts glaze to one part latex paint to create a topcoat glaze. Use a slightly darker color than the base coat.
Apply the topcoat in sections. While the paint is wet, use a rolled up sheet of plastic to lightly dab on the wall moving from top to bottom. Repeat this technique for every other taped section. Allow to dry.
